I am absolutely astounded with the generosity of the Mass Effect community right now.
When I saw the Child's Play fund, I wasn't sure what to think. How is this at all related to Mass Effect? How will it accomplish anything? But now I see. This is to bring positive attention to our cause. We are not a bunch of whiny little fanboys complaining that the ending wasn't sunshine and rainbows. We are a mature group of gamers who are disappointed with how the ending of one our favorite game series played out. We have legitimate reasons and explanations for our complaints and we are trying to present them as calmly and maturely as we can.
We have collaborated with Child's Play to gain attention for our cause. Instead of going on forums and trolling and flaming, we opened a fund to help sick little kids. Even if Bioware doesn't address our concerns, even if they don't so much as acknowledge us, we have already raised over $25,000 for Child's Play and that's something I will forever be proud to be a part of.
I am proud to count myself a member of the Mass Effect community.

Hold the line!
Hold the line, indeed! I'm so proud of the Mass Effect community coming together to raise money for such a worthy charity. If no changes come from BioWare, we've at least got something positive outta it.
I was in the middle of rebeating ME1 (I couldn't stand sitting there waiting for ME3 so I started ANOTHER game). Renegade!Fem Shep with Liara romance... but now, all I can think is "what is the point?" As I rebeat the third one I keep thinking "Somehow, someway, for some reason, the end will be different this time." And.... it's not.
If this is the case, then I believe we are both insane, my friend, because I played through the ending a few times hoping that somehow I had missed something and it would change.
I agree though. If this isn't resolved, then I'm done with Bioware.
